Mother’s country The cat wants my intension. I go to the kitchen and she gets to eat before she shows me she wants to get out. I open the window and she does not get out right away.

It seems she needs some time to make up her mind if she will stay in where it is nicely warm and safe because no one is disturbing her peace or if she will get out and explore the outer world.

I had the intention to go out now and make a walk in the sun but I will not. I like to write what comes into my mind now.

You came here full of energy, full of expectations of the richness that Germany IS to you. The country you come from is the music you carry in your heart but this country is not the country of your mother and you want to experience the country of your mother.

But this country where your mother is living now seems not the country that is the country she carries in her heart. She was born in another country, she spent her youth there and is still longing to the memories she has about this country.

This country that she was born in, makes that she makes contact to people who have contact to this country. Like I do. My mother was born in the country that now is called Indonesia.

She was not born in Indonesia. She was born in Nederlands Indie. To her that was important and I can comprehend. I know the importance and the power of words.

I experienced how my words were misunderstood and used against me. That is the reason why I write. So you can not change what everybody has read.
