Cab

I just arrived in Jakarta. I have no place to go and no idea what to do. The people at the bus station here are not interested in my needs so I decide I got to get out of here and find help from someone else.

I cross the street as the cars that drive direction centre drive over there. And a bus cab is waiting for me to cross the street and to pop in. I have the whole bus cab for myself.

The driver asks me in good English where I want to go and I tell him that I am Dutch and have no idea where to go. I tried to get in contact with people that live here and could help me with a bed for the night through couch surfing but did not succeed yet.

The driver tells me to go to the Batavia Café and ask there. He writes on a piece of paper how I get there and drops me off at the place where I have to catch another bus to the Batavia Café. A man also changes to the bus and shows me where the Batavia Café is.

They have a hot spot there but my compu does not like it. So after a while I go again. No one there could help me and I start asking for an internet café. Some young guys start talking to me but they too can not help me with my connexion problem.

I want to go in the internet to see if someone from Couch Surfing has answered my request of a bed for the night. I start walking and I come to the Batavia Hotel. I go in and they can help me. Through them I get a bed for the night and the next day I find a hot spot place.

It is a computer school but that I am not aware of. A lot of young boys are there with their computers and one of them makes my computer fit for the hot spot internet.

They are all very friendly to me and I feel very honoured that they help me, so I can have a look if someone from Couch Surfing wants contact with me. I seem so disconnected like the patient in coma. His system is working, but because of the disconnections, he can not move nor make contact to the others or make his needs clear.

His needs are not the same of people that are not patients in coma. The most important thing the patient in coma needs is movements and help to connect to the earth. Grounding one calls it and without grounding he will not be able to make the movements without help.

The movements that h needs must be given in a certain pattern that fits to his very special situation. This very special situation is characterized by a high sensitive situation where all feelings are much more intensive than in the normal situation and by the immobility that is a result of the shock experience.

This immobility must get a chance to disappear by helping the patient to move, while the mental body and emotional body are stimulated at the same time. This can be done by telling the patient what movement will be made with music playing.

The cabdriver understood that I needed more than the words that he used to explain me where to go. He wrote them down so I could use this piece of paper to make the connexion with other people that could help me. The patient in coma needs other people to help him to connect to the earth.

This can be learned in the hpi-EDUCATION for COMA-THERAPIST and the hpi-EDUCATION for COMA-NURSE.
