Dementia

In the cupboard are lots of drawers and some cups. The whole cupboard is empty. It has been used and everything that is still in it has been used with it, which gave the cupboard life. Life has gone with the person, that emptied the cupboard and installed it the way it is now. It is dead now.

A cupboard should be used. It is like people. Every person has experiences through his birth and gets a lot of experiences throughout his life.

The person is like a cupboard. He puts his experiences in a drawer or in a cup and knows than, where to find it again. These experiences are for every person special as everyone IS special and experiences can therefore only partly be shared.

Experiences of persons are always unique but they can be sensed if one uses his feelings. These feelings are like the cupboard: they are the same for everybody. The experiences are like the ingredients that are kept in the cupboard. They are the same for all, but by the mixture of the user the result will be unique like the cakes that are backed by several persons with the same ingredients will all taste different.

If the person does not like his experiences and tries to forget them, he empties the cupboard so he will not be able to use the basic feelings any longer. This person is no longer alive, he is only empty drawers and cups in which he does not want to put anything because he does not like the unique results. This behaviour has emptiness as result and this is called dementia

This information came by a visit of a hotel in the Black Forest, Schwarzwald on 27 July 2011.
