Fiets tocht - Cycle trip

We have been on the JOB together and I have given you some advices but you have answered them all with pretexts.

I am astonished to see that you do not do what I think is necessary and what normally is done, as you told me.

It seems to me that you do not want to change your behaviour and I wonder if that is the child that is just doing everything that she thinks she is not allowed to do.

I was like that. You could tell me I would not be able to do so and I would PROVE that I was able. Like that cycletour from Tilburg to Aerdenhout.

A friend of mine had taken my violin with her because I did not want to take it with me on the second trip of my holiday. I decided to fetch it.

I did not have a car and the weather was okay so I decided to take the bike. My father told me that the distance was too big to cycle that on one day.

About 100 km it must be and I did not cycle more than 7 km normally. That was the way to school. So I was warned and left early enough to have the whole day to cycle to Haarlem.

An uncle was living there and I stayed there overnight. It was a hard ride. Until Wassenaar, where TANTE BERTHA lived, everything was going well.

I had taken the ferry-boat at Schoonhoven and enjoyed the nice little town. In Wassenaar I cycled to tante Bertha and had a cup of tea with her. She always had water boiling on the gas so she made the tea when the doorbell rang and 5 minutes later you got a nice fresh cup of tea.

We sat in the garden. It was a little garden but she had made it nice with all sorts of flowers and some herbs. I left again and cycled further. The biggest part I had done already. And than came the wind. And this wind was not coming from the south but she was blowing from the direction I wanted to go in.

So I had to use a lot of power to come forward. It took me much longer than I had thought and I did not go to Aerdenhout but straight away to my uncle and was very glad I could stay there for a GOOD NIGHTS REST.

Next day my both knees hurt as never before and never after. It took 3 days before I could walk normal more or less with pain that was bearable. At that time I did not know that people gave me their pain to get rid of it.

Now I can feel what patients need and that is a gift if I treat people that can not talk like patients in coma or autistic people.

This communication with people that do not talk is also instructed in the EDUCATION FOR COMA-THERAPIST AND EDUCATION FOR COMA
