I arrive at the bus station and a lot of men offer me to drive me into town. I am a back packer but is seems they think I am rich.
They want to charge me almost as much as what I paid for the hotel room in Jakarta. I rather stay in a hotel room and walk into town so I do not take the cab but follow the signs into town,
As it seems that it is quite far I ask a car that stops beside me and God is with me, yes, I can pop in and they will take me and bring me into town. They do so and I am told where to go to find myself a hotel room.
The last day I am at Bali I walk through town and a man offers me a drive in a cab to a hotel that is promoting itself. I accept it, full of joyful adventure feelings. After all the adventure is just a fake. No excursion through the hotel that was promised me and no glass of wine.
I am glad I do not get a glass of wine. I can get myself a glass of juice that tastes much better. To me a glass of juice has a much higher value than a glass of wine. I can drink juice but I do not want to drink wine.
And that is what the patient in coma can not choose. No one asks him what he wants or what he thinks he needs. His system is totally different from the system before the accident and this new system has totally different needs from the normal system.
These different needs are discussed in the EDUDATION to COMA-THERAPIST and COMA-NURSE.
