The free WALK

THE TEMPLE

I got up at 10.15 h after a good nights sleep. No window in the room makes that I do not have any idea about what time it is. I must hurry to be in time for the free WALK that is organised by ‛be TOURIST‛, every morning at 10.30 h, back of the central market, first floor. I did the WALK yesterday and want to be with it today too. I like to walk. I need this contact to the earth.

I like the WALK of be TOURIST. They do a very good job as they inform you about everything you want to know. So, I get up very quickly and hurry to their office. Today a young Chinese is the leader. It is his first WALK. He has been prepared himself very well. He takes us to the mosk where we have to put on a kerchief and a long coat. We are allowed to walk around the mosk.

There is a sign about all the hygienic rules. I wonder how they can give us kerchiefs and coats that others wore before us and will wear after us. To me that is not hygienic. We walk further and see some men who weld without an eye protection. Is that one of the reasons that there are so many people that are blind?

The first evening I walked into town I noticed, that there are lots of places where there is a special pavement for blind people and I saw at least three blind people. As I do not see them here in Germany, I wonder if there are more in Malaysia or if they are more in the streets. After seeing how these men weld a fence of an official Malaysian office without eye protection I assume that that is one of the causes of blind people.

We walk through the centre and come to a Chinese temple. I would never have found that on my own. Our guide tells us that he is looking for his roots too. His grandfather came from China and was a salesman who earned a lot and sent that to his family in China. I am looking for my roots too and feel connected to him. We wonder who we are and where we come from. I have the feeling I am on the right way.

In the temple I talk with an English speaking woman who tells me she is doing research for a hospital. I ask her if she can give me the address of the hospital so I can write them about the hpi-therapy. Unfortunately she can not help me. Maybe there are no patients in coma in Malaysia?

In the evening I go for a walk and discover a hindu tempel. The shoes must be taken off and are standing in front of the place, which took my attention. I entered and enjoyed the beautiful altars. I went into a shop, that has a direct connection to the tempel and sells clothes. Most of them were seperately packed in a plastic bag. They looked very noble. Back in the temple I noticed a heap of clothes and wondered, if they will be sold in the shop later. There was a ceremony going on and I wondered, if those people needed hpi-therapy. The priest seemed to do a ritual but to me he was not doing it with his heart, but only with his mental thinking. He said the words he had learned and seemed not aware of the needs of the persons that had given him an offer because they needed help.

Needs from people can be fulfilled by accepting their offers with the heart and by making the connection between the Divine love and the hearts of the others. This is a part of hpi-therapy and taught in the hpi - COURSES.
